This page is maintained by Morah Rina and describes the terms for using the morahrina.com booking site and purchasing swim lessons. Last updated: July 2026.
1. Service
Morah Rina provides private 25-minute swim lessons for toddlers, kids, and young adults. Lessons are offered at Rina’s private pool in the La Brea area, or — for a limited number of slots — at your nearby location with a $100 travel fee.
2. Booking and payment
A booking request reserves a time slot. Each class must be paid for at least 24 hours in advance. Payment is accepted via Zelle or Venmo to 310-801-9568. If payment is not received by the deadline, the slot may be released to another family. The pool address is shared after payment is confirmed.
3. Pricing
The standard lesson fee is $55 per 25-minute class. Off-site lessons at your pool include an additional $100 travel fee. Prices are subject to change; the price in effect at the time of booking applies.
4. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson will receive a full refund so the slot can be reopened. Cancellations within 24 hours are not eligible for a refund. No-shows are charged the full lesson amount.
5. Safety and conduct
A responsible adult must be present at the lesson location during the entire lesson. Children must arrive ready to swim and follow safety instructions. Rina reserves the right to end a lesson early if a child’s behavior creates an unsafe environment; in such cases the lesson fee is not refunded.
6. Liability
Swimming lessons involve inherent risks. By booking, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Morah Rina is not liable for injury, loss, or damage except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children before and after the lesson.
7. Rescheduling and weather
Lessons may be rescheduled by mutual agreement at least 24 hours in advance. Outdoor lessons may be cancelled due to unsafe weather (thunder, lightning, heavy rain, or unsafe pool conditions). Cancelled weather lessons will be rescheduled or refunded.
8. Account requirements
An account is required to book so we can confirm your identity, send booking details, and let you view your upcoming lessons. Keep your login information secure.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current terms posted on the site at the time of your booking apply.
